This Privacy Policy explains how we at DubitCard get hold of, use and share your personal information, such as your name and address.
How do we get information about you?
We collect all the information you provide about yourself when you register for a DubitCard or to use the website. We therefore collect your name, address, e-mail and telephone number. We may however also ask you other information during registration that will be collected in the same way.
If you use the card to receive points or discounts with one of the participating companies in the scheme we might record information on what you purchase. This also includes online stores whereby you enter your card and pin number.
If you use the DubitCard website to find out about the latest offers, we will also collect this information.
We may ask you questions about your purchases, hobbies, likes and dislikes. If you answer these questions we will keep this information about you.
What do we do with the information we collect about you?
We store the information you provide so that we can send you offers on products that we believe are of interest to you. All the information you provide is held in very secure databases that can only be accessed by selected employees of Dubit Limited.
We will use the information we have about you to help us to:
- send you the DubitCard
- email you from time to time with offers from companies participating in the Dubit card scheme*
- send text messages to your mobile phone from time to time with offers from companies participating in the Dubit card scheme
- send you a brochure in the post from time to time with the latest offers and other stuff we think you'll be interested in
Data Protection - will we pass your information to anyone else?
We will never pass your details onto anyone else unless you give us permission to. We make sure that we keep to our legal requirements under the Data Protection Act 1998 at all times.
We will not pass on any information that you give us unless you give us your approval. You will not receive any unwanted e-mails or post as a result of giving us any personal information.
How do I unsubscribe, I don't want to receive offers anymore?
Please contact us through one of the methods listed below if you:
- do not want to receive through DubitCard information on offers and promotions
- do not want to receive information (including special offers) by SMS
- do not want to receive information (including special offers) by e-mail
- do not want to receive information (including special offers) by Post
